From Morocco, a grey quartz slice in a natural moon form — raw matrix edge, crystalline interior pockets catching light along the cut face. Small, precise, and entirely its own.

Cut to expose its interior, this grey quartz moon slice shows what most stones keep hidden — pockets of crystalline formation along the face, bright against the surrounding grey, with a raw rust and brown matrix edge that traces the natural curve of the original stone.

The moon form is not carved. It is the shape the stone was found in, preserved exactly as it came. That restraint is part of what makes it worth owning.

At 44 grams it is the lightest piece in the collection — precise, considered, and quietly architectural in the way it sits. Place it propped, flat, or within a grouping where its cut face catches the light it was made to hold.

Grey quartz is durable and low-maintenance, but the crystalline pockets along the cut face deserve care.

Dust with a soft, dry brush — a clean paintbrush works well for reaching into the crystalline formations without applying pressure. For the matrix edge, a slightly damp cloth is sufficient. Dry thoroughly and immediately after any contact with moisture.

Avoid household cleaning sprays, chemicals, and abrasive materials on both surfaces. The cut face in particular should never be treated with anything other than a dry or barely damp cloth.
