Designed by Dominique Perrault and Gaëlle Lauriot-Prévost, the In The Sun Cordless Lamp celebrates light in its most regal form. Crafted in gold or silver tones, it casts a warm, radiant glow — playful yet poetic, timeless yet modern.

Born from the redesign of the Pavillon Dufour at the Palais de Versailles, the In The Sun Lamp was conceived as a contemporary tribute to Louis XIV — the “Sun King.” Designers Dominique Perrault and Gaëlle Lauriot-Prévost envisioned a piece that captures the celebratory spirit of Versailles while translating it for the modern home.

Its sculptural silhouette — a radiant disc and pleated metallic shade — diffuses light in mesmerizing reflections, creating an atmosphere both elegant and joyful. Whether in gold or silver, the lamp shimmers with a soft luminosity that dances across nearby surfaces, enveloping any space in warmth and splendour.
