From Morocco, a substantial calcite quartz cluster with warm champagne inclusions and a raw matrix reverse. Pale, complex, and entirely unrepeatable.

This is not a quiet piece. At 1,029 grams it commands whatever surface it occupies — a wide, generous formation of very pale pink crystal points threaded with warm golden-brown inclusions that shift in tone as light moves across them.

The front face is all crystal: densely clustered points ranging from blush to near-clear, with champagne running through the formation where mineral meets mineral. The reverse is raw dark matrix — the contrast between the two faces is part of what makes this piece so visually complete.

Place it where it has room. A console, a wide shelf, a coffee table where it can be seen from multiple angles. It is the kind of piece a room orients itself around.

Calcite quartz clusters are robust but the crystal points and calcite inclusions deserve considered handling.

Dust between the points gently with a soft, dry brush — a clean paintbrush is ideal for reaching into the formation without applying pressure. For the raw matrix reverse, a slightly damp cloth is sufficient. Dry thoroughly and immediately after any contact with moisture.

Calcite is sensitive to acids — avoid all household cleaning sprays and chemicals, which can etch or dull the surface of the inclusions permanently. Keep away from prolonged direct sunlight, which can gradually affect the tone of both the quartz and calcite over time.

Avoid dropping or placing direct pressure on the crystal formation. At this weight the piece is stable, but the individual points and calcite formations are part of its character and should be handled with care.

Variation in crystal tone, calcite distribution, and matrix colour is inherent to the mineral. No two clusters are identical.
