Founders thoughts
Some pieces are selected for what they add to a surface. This one was selected for what it does to a room. At this scale and with this formation, it is not a supporting object — it is the reason the surface exists. That is a rare quality, and it is why it is here.
Origin: Morocco
Mineral: Calcite Quartz Cluster — pale crystal points with warm champagne calcite inclusions on raw matrix base
Colour: Blush white to near-clear with golden-brown calcite inclusions, dark matrix reverse Weight: 1,029g
Dimensions: 18.5cm (width) × 9cm (height)
Each piece is unique.
Variation in crystal formation, tone, and matrix character is inherent to the mineral and is not an imperfection.

Calcite quartz clusters are robust but the crystal points and calcite inclusions deserve considered handling.
Dust between the points gently with a soft, dry brush — a clean paintbrush is ideal for reaching into the formation without applying pressure. For the raw matrix reverse, a slightly damp cloth is sufficient. Dry thoroughly and immediately after any contact with moisture.
Calcite is sensitive to acids — avoid all household cleaning sprays and chemicals, which can etch or dull the surface of the inclusions permanently. Keep away from prolonged direct sunlight, which can gradually affect the tone of both the quartz and calcite over time.
Avoid dropping or placing direct pressure on the crystal formation. At this weight the piece is stable, but the individual points and calcite formations are part of its character and should be handled with care.
Variation in crystal tone, calcite distribution, and matrix colour is inherent to the mineral. No two clusters are identical.
