Tourmaline Quartz — Moon Shape

Some objects arrive with a history.
£45.00
Tax included.

Formed in the Atlas Mountains of Morocco, this tourmaline quartz is raw, luminous, and entirely unrepeatable. No two are the same. This one is yours.

Two minerals interrupted mid-formation and frozen there permanently — clear and milky quartz threaded through with black tourmaline inclusions that shift from pale to complex depending on the light.

The form is naturally moon-shaped, wider at one end and tapering at the other. That asymmetry is what gives it presence. It does not settle into a surface. It claims it.

Place it on a side table, a stack of books, or as a quiet anchor within a larger tableau. It holds its own without demanding to be noticed.

This exact piece — this weight, this formation, this particular collision of minerals — exists once.

The crystal photographed is the crystal you will receive.

Tourmaline quartz requires very little maintenance.

Dust occasionally with a soft, dry cloth. If the surface needs cleaning, use a slightly damp cloth and dry immediately. Avoid prolonged contact with water, and keep away from harsh chemicals, cleaning sprays, and abrasive materials, which can dull the natural lustre of the crystal faces.

Store away from direct sunlight if you are not displaying it. Prolonged UV exposure can cause subtle fading in the quartz over time.

This piece will not chip under normal handling, but the crystal pockets and tourmaline inclusions are natural formations — treat them with the same care you would any considered object in your home.

No two pieces are identical. Any variation in surface, colour, or formation is inherent to the mineral and is not a flaw. It is the record of how this stone was made.
